Background: Kate Blundell comes to Missouri State after swimming four years for Joplin High School. Blundell lettered all four years in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, 200 individual medley and the 100 fly. Personal: Full name is Kate Michelle Blundell. Born April 23, 1990 in Pittsburg, Kan. Daughter of George and Kathy Blundell. Kate[apos]s brother, Mike, was a member of the University of Kansas swim team.
