At Missouri State: Missouri State's most-consistent offensive performer last year, Jenna Schwark enters her final season in Maroon and White looking to build on a breakthrough junior campaign that saw her earn first-team all-conference honors.

2010: Schwark led the team in hitting (.358), runs batted-in (29), slugging percentage (.535), walks (19) and on-base percentage (.440) as a junior ... posted the fourth-highest batting average and and also ranked fourth in the league in hits, earning first-team All-MVC accolades as a result ... recorded four separate hitting streaks of five games or more, including a six-game streak to begin the season ... made starts at second, third and in the outfield for the Bears while maintaining a .947 fielding percentage ... from April 2-10, had a five-game hitting streak while batting .692 with a double and a home run ... voted to the MVC All-Tournament team for the second straight year after going 7-for-19 (.368 avg) with a double, two home runs and six RBI in the Bears' five games at the meet ... honored for her work in the classroom with a CoSIDA Academic All-District VII nod.

2009: Schwark made 27 starts at third base and 14 at second, finishing as MSU[apos]s second-leading hitter and 23rd overall in the Missouri Valley Conference with a .304 average ... her 13 multi-hit and three multi-RBI games also ranked second on the squad ... batted .325 in 28 road/neutral field games ... posted an eight-game hitting streak, Feb. 20-March 7, that included five consecutive multi-hit games (Feb. 21-27); batted .583 (14-for-24) with seven runs scored and 10 RBIs to help MSU go 6-2 over the course of the eight-game streak ... hit .571 (8-for-14) with four runs scored and five RBIs to earn all-tourney honors at the Sleep Inn Classic (2/20-22) ... had two doubles vs. Valparaiso and seven assists vs. Tennessee Tech on Feb. 27 at the Frost Classic, both of which represented MSU single-game highs for 2009; also hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the ninth-inning to help MSU top Tennessee Tech, 4-0 ... went 5-for-14 (.357) over four-game hit streak (3/22-3/26) in which the Bears recorded three victories ... at Kansas (3/24), recorded a hit, two walks, an RBI and three runs scored to help MSU top the Jayhawks, 13-8 ... hit in six consecutive outings, April 15-25, going 8-for-17 (.471) with a pair of doubles ... was the Bears[apos] all-tournament selection at the MVC Championship after going 2-for-4 vs. Bradley (5/7) in MSU[apos]s opening-round loss.

2008: As a freshman, Schwark started 35 games at second base and served as the Bears[apos] DP three times, hitting .259 with a homer, 10 RBIs and four steals ... was MSU[apos]s second-leading hitter during conference play, posting a .316 batting average ... led the club with eight sacrifice bunts ... recorded four multi-hit games ... committed just two errors in 141 total chances for a .986 fielding percentage ... hit .364 vs. left-handers ... went hitless in her first nine at-bats of the season before going 2-for-2 against SEMO (3/2) to start a seven-game hit streak ... had two hits and drove in two runs against Wichita State (4/2) ... was 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBIs in a 5-3 win at Evansville (4/20).

Background: Schwark was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter for Broken Arrow (Okla.) High, where she was a teammate of fellow Bear Tyler Porter ... was a co-captain on the Lady Tigers[apos] state championship team and earned all-conference and all-state honors at second base as a senior in 2006 ... helped her team win a school-record 30 games in-a-row ... earned All-Frontier Conference recognition as a third baseman and also was named to the Tulsa all-metro team ... was the all-conference second baseman on a regional championship team as a sophomore and played a reserve role at third base on Broken Arrow[apos]s state championship team as a freshman.
