2019: Herron joined Missouri State’s talented group of freshmen in putting their collective stamp on the Bears’ offense, hitting .244 in 42 games as a rookie ... Made 30 starts as MSU’s designated hitter, clubbing a pair of home runs and logging six multi-hit performances ... Registered his first hit as a Bear Feb. 23 at San Diego, then went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs in his Hammons Field debut vs. Central Arkansas (Feb. 26) ... Added two more RBIs in MSU’s second-straight win over UCA (Feb. 27), finishing the two-game sweep 3-for-8 with three RBIs ... Collected three hits in a doubleheader with UC Irvine (March 1), extending his hit streak to four games ... Drove in a run at Oral Roberts (March 13) as part of an 11-2 win, before plating a pair of runs in MSU’s come-from-behind victory at Oklahoma (March 15) ... Came off the bench to deliver a critical pinch-hit, three-run homer in a 15-10 win at Murray State (April 3) that kicked off a season-best five-game hit streak; added a 2-for-4 night with two stolen bases in a series-opening win at Southern Illinois (April 5) and drove in a run at Kansas (April 7) ...
