Gambill started all 49 games in which she played ... hit .256 with 15 RBI, 18 walks, 19 runs scored and a pair of dingers ... began the year by hitting safely in each of her first four games, added an RBI in three of those games and drew four walks (Feb. 12-19) ... doubled, walked and scored a run at Troy (Feb. 27) ... drew two walks, scored twice and drive in a run in win over UMKC (Mar. 4) ... hit safely in four-straight games to open MVC play (Mar. 19-26) ... singled and scored in win at Arkansas (Mar. 29) ... walked three times, scored twice and drove in two others in home series against Southern Illinois (Apr. 9-10) ... scored a run in each half of the doubleheader versus Wichita State (Apr. 20) ... belted a three-run home run at Northern Iowa and scored twice (Apr. 23) ... drew a walk and went 2-for-3 with a run scored in series finale at UNI (Apr. 24) ... blasted a grand slam at Wichita State (May 3) ... hit an RBI double and scored in MVC Tournament win over Bradley (May 12) ... singled and scored against Southern Illinois in MVC Tournament quarterfinals (May 13).

Gambill started 42 of the 48 games she played in during the 2015 season ... hit .221 with 11 runs batted in ... was second on the team with 23 bases on balls ... was successful on both stolen base attempts ... drew a walk in back-to-back games to conclude the Louisiana Tech Invitational (Feb. 7-8) and scored a run against the host LA Tech ... belted a three-run home run to centerfield in the first inning against Samford in Norman, Okla. (March 8) ... went 3-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in game two versus UMKC (March 11) ... had an RBI double and drew a walk the next day against Arkansas (March 12) ... drew two walks in the first game of the doubleheaders versus Drake (March 16) and at Bradley (March 21) ... went 3-for-4 in game one of twinbill with SEMO (March 31) ... had a season-high four runs batted in, scored twice, hit a home run and stole a base in game two of doubleheader sweep of Evansville (April 4) ... drew two walks in game two versus Loyola (April 11) and again at Illinois State (April 18) ... went 1-for-1 with two walks at Tulsa (April 29).

Gambill played in 39 games as a freshman, starting in 32 of those games ... tied for fifth on the team with 12 walks drawn ... her first career hit was a double against Central Michigan (Feb. 14) ... belted her first career home run against Lipscomb (Feb. 23) at the Blues City Classic, a game in which she scored twice ... drove in a run in three-straight games from February 23 through March 7 ... went 2-for-4 with a double, run scored and an RBI against Bradley (March 20) ... drew at least one walk in four-straight games from April 12 to April 16, including a season-high two bases on balls in the series finale versus Indiana State (April 13) ... had a 2-for-3 day with a double and a run scored to close the series at UNI (April 19) ... hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh to cap a comeback by the Bears in win over Wichita State (April 22) ... had an RBI double in the bottom of the seventh in game two of doubleheader split against Shockers (April 22).
Background
Gambill was a three-year standout for head coach Randall King at Broken Arrow High ... as a senior, she led the Lady Tigers in hitting (.450) and went 20-3 in the circle for a BAHS squad that won district and regional titles ... her team finished third at state and she was named District Pitcher of the Year ... earned all-state first team and all-region honors along with academic all-conference accolades and was named Tulsa World Athlete of the Week on October 17, 2012 ... her junior season, Gambill was an all-district first teamer and all-metro honorable mention selection ... hit .430 with 15 doubles and 34 runs scored while leading her team to a regional title ... as a sophomore, her team won regionals and she earned all-conference honorable mention accolades ... was selected as an academic all-conference honoree in each of her final three seasons at Broken Arrow High ... helped her Diamond Girls squad to a first-place finish in the Colorado Fireworks in 2011.
