Biography
At Missouri State: Lacey Dake will compete for time in net this season. 2008: Dake played a supporting role on the bench and during practice. 2007: Dake saw limited action in the goalkeeper position for the Bears as a sophomore, appearing in one match. 2006: Dake saw action in two contests and recorded one save and allowed no goals between the pipes. Background: Lacey Dake joined the Bears from Union High School in Tulsa, Okla. In her senior campaign, Dake defended the goal and helped the Union Redskins to their first-ever district championship and advancement to the state quarterfinals. Dake was also a member of the Tulsa Soccer Club where her team won the Plano Labor Day tournament, and earned the U18 state title her senior year. In her junior year, Dake competed as the goalkeeper for the Tulsa Soccer Club in 27 games and allowed only three goals. Dake also competed for the Hurricane Futbol Club where her winning penalty kick earned her team the Surf Cup in 2005 in San Diego. Personal: Dake is the daughter of Earl and Lizabeth Dake and was born March 29, 1988. She is an elementary education major.
