Amy Barth started nine games for the Bears last season and will return for her final year where she will look to see more playing time as a midfielder. 2005: Barth competed in all 18 games for Missouri State, including nine starts, as a junior where she recorded five shots. 2004: Barth registered two shots and contributed one assist for Missouri State as a sophomore. 2003: Barth made eight appearances as a forward in her first year as a Bear, registering one shot on the season. Background: Barth arrived at Missouri State after being a three-year starter at Johnston High. As a senior she helped lead the Dragons to a No. 6 Iowa state ranking while leading the team in assists. She was selected second-team all-conference as a junior and honorable mention all-conference as a sophomore. She also played and started every game as a freshman. Barth was a four-year starter for the Urbandale soccer club team. She also played basketball at Johnston High.
