SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State women's basketball head coach
Beth Cunningham announced today the signing of transfer Victoria Dixon. Dixon has one year of eligibility remaining.
Dixon spent last season at Houston Christian, where she averaged 6.0 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. She appeared in 27 games with three starts for the Huskies as a junior, shooting 37 percent from the field and 77 percent at the charity stripe as the team's third leading scorer.
Prior to her time at HCU, Dixon spent her sophomore season (2023-24) at Alabama A&M, averaging 5.8 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in 31 appearances for the Bulldogs. The Grand Prairie, Texas native player her freshman season (2022-23) at Tyler Junior College where she averaged 14.2 points per game and shot 44 percent from the field. Dixon also averaged 3.4 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game at TJC.

"We are excited to add Victoria to our Lady Bear family. She not only brings experience, but also adds another ball-handling, play-making guard to our back court. Victoria also brings speed and quickness, and will impact us with her aggressive defensive mentality."
