Lady Bears Ink Transfer Hannah Linthacum

April 17, 2026

SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State women's basketball head coach Beth Cunningham announced today the signing of transfer Hannah Linthacum. Linthacum has two years of eligibility remaining.

The 6-4 forward spent the past three seasons at the University of Missouri, but redshirted last season for the Tigers. In her career at Mizzou, Linthacum averaged 2.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 62 career games, while also recording 21 assists, 19 steals and 15 blocks. She shot .495 from the field and .608 from the charity stripe.

At Jefferson City High School, Linthacum was a two-time all-state selection in both basketball and volleyball, and was the Missouri Basketball Class 5 Player of the Year as a senior. She achieved 1,000 career points and rebounds during her high school career and won two district championships in both basketball and volleyball for the Jays.

Her sister, Sarah, played for the Lady Bears in 2024-25.

Cunningham on Linthacum:
"Hannah is an awesome addition to our team and our front court in particular. I believe the front court we have - our returners and new additions - will be a strength next season. It will be great to have versatility at all our positions and be able to consistently use the double-big lineup with the size, depth and athleticism that we face throughout our league. Hannah comes from an incredible family, and we are excited to have another Linthacum wear the Lady Bear uniform."
