Track and Field Bears Return to Arkansas

Keeping Track of the Bears

The Missouri State track and field team will set out for another day of competition at Arkansas for the John McDonnell Invitational on Friday, April 25.
The action will kickoff at 2:55 p.m. with the 4x100-meter relay on the track side and at 5:15 p.m. on the field side with the javelin. The meet will be shown on SECN+ starting at 2:45 p.m.
The Bears are coming off a rest weekend. Prior to that, MoState split in half to compete at the Mule Relays on Friday, April 11 and the Arkansas Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 12. Tommi Martin and Mirabella Redman were the only Bears to pull double duty and compete in both meets.
Two Bears took home wins. Tabitha Fox won the 5,000-meter run at the Mule Relays with a time of 17:09.47. Fox set a new personal best by approximately 31 seconds. Adrien Martens took home the win in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Arkansas Spring Invitational with a time of 11:16.66.
The Bears are 22^nd in the Midwest Region and fourth in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Meghan Halstead leads the Valley in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.69. Olivia Rogers is second in the 200-meter dash and third in the 100-meter dash. In the field events freshmen Maliya Clark and Brooklynn O'Cain are third in the triple jump and javelin with senior Kamdyn Moddy sitting in third for the heptathlon.
