Missouri State's Johanna Wollenhaupt has been named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week after her standout performance earlier this week at the Vaqueros Invitational in McAllen, Texas. The senior from Hamburg, Germany tied for fifth with a career-best 54-hole total of 213, even par, on rounds of 73-69-71 at McAllen Country Club in leading her team to a fourth-place finish Monday and Tuesday (Mar. 4-5).

Wollenhaupt currently ranks third on the team with a 74.95 scoring average and is in the top 10 at MSU in career scoring average. This marks the third time in her career she's picked up the Valley's weekly golf honor. She and her teammates will compete next at the Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona, Ariz.
