Coyee Zhang shot an even-par 72 and the Missouri State women's golf team moved up two spots in Monday's second round (Oct. 20) at the Diamante Intercollegiate at Diamante Country Club. The Shenzhen, China native moved up 27 spots on a day when scores were higher due to strong winds and tough pin positions and sits in 24th place overall with one round to play.
The Bears posted 297 for the day after opening with 296 Sunday to give them a 593 total and tied for 10th with California Baptist and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Boston College leads the team race with 561 through two rounds, while Memphis is second at 573, and Central Arkansas and Ball State are tied for third in the 18-team field with 574.

Tierney Baumstark is second for MSU and tied for 38th overall after carding 73-75--148, while freshman
Chloe Bolte is tied for 59th with 73-78--151. Senior
Kiser Pannier and sophomore
Siena Minor are a shot back and tied for 68th after shooting 76-76 and 78-74, respectively.
Tuesday's final round is set for an 8:30 a.m. start with the first MSU player teeing off at 9:39 a.m.
