Final Results
JONESBORO, Ark. -- The Missouri State women's golf team finished seventh of 17 teams Tuesday (Oct. 14) at the Lady Red Wolves Classic at Sage Meadows Golf Club, stumbling to the finish line after beginning the tournament in fourth place after Monday's first round. The Bears closed with 300 in the final round and finished with an 881 total after opening with 290-291.
Senior
Kiser Pannier led the way for MSU with her second top-10 finish of the season, shooting 70-69-75--214, two-under-par, to tie for 10th place. Junior
Tierney Baumstark was second on the team and 37th overall with 78-72-72--222. while
Coyee Zhang and
Chloe Bolte next in a tie for 51st with 224 totals. Zhang posted 71-76-77 and Bolte had 74-74-76.
Kyleigh Pfitzner shot 75-76-79--230.
Sophomore
Siena Minor paced three Bears playing as individuals, carding 79-70-77--226, one better than
Marlee Edgeman's 74-76-77--227. Freshman
Katelyn Wilkie tallied 79-79-78--236 to finish 93rd.
ULM ran away with the team title, firing 845 to easily outdistance second-place Memphis and its 866. Morehead State and West Georgia tied for third at 867, with Little Rock and host Arkansas State placing fifth and sixth, respectively, just ahead of MoState.
The Bears are back in action Sunday thru Tuesday (Oct. 19-21) at the Diamante Intercollegiate in Hot Springs Village, Ark.
