"Today was a really mixed bag as far as results, and unfortunately when that happens, it's not a great day for the team," head coach Jordan Fife said. "We had some really big breakthroughs for some and some setbacks for others. This group proves every day in practice that they're a better team than we showed today and we're looking forward to proving that the next time out."

The Bears will see their MVC opponents again when they race in the MVC Championship hosted by UNI in Cedar Falls, Iowa on Friday, Nov. 1.
