Tabitha Fox Earns All-Conference Second Team Honors After Standout Season

November 06, 2025

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Missouri State junior Tabitha Fox has been named to the Conference USA All-Conference Second Team, the league announced following last week's CUSA Cross Country Championship in Huntsville, Ala.

Fox capped an impressive junior campaign with a 13th-place individual finish at the championship meet, clocking a time of 20:48.40 in the 6K. It marked the best conference finish by a Bear since 2018 and helped Missouri State secure a third-place team finish in its inaugural season in CUSA, the program's best conference result since 2010.

Fox's season was defined by her steady excellence across a series of high-caliber meets. She emerged as Missouri State's top finisher in every race this fall, highlighted by standout performances at both the Chile Pepper Festival and Bradley Pink Classic.

At the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark., Fox placed 18th overall in a stacked field that included nationally ranked programs, posting a 17:13.1 5K time that ranked third all-time among Missouri State performers. She followed that effort with a career-best 21:03.94 at the Bradley Pink Classic, moving to fifth all-time in the 6K and leading the Bears to a third-place team finish among more than 20 Division I programs.

Her consistency and poise carried into the postseason, where she again led the charge at the CUSA Championship, a performance that solidified her as one of the league's top runners and earned her all-conference recognition.

Fox and the Bears will return to action on Friday, Nov. 14 at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship in Stillwater, Okla., hosted by Oklahoma State.
