Was a three-time cross country state qualifier and distance specialist on the track at Edwardsville (Ill.) High for coaches George Patrylak, Karrie Burmester and Dustin Davis ... In her senior season (2022-23), she placed 50th at the state cross country meet and won a South Western Conference title ... Turned in PR times in the 800m (2:19) and 3-mile (17:49) while earning the Alton Runner of the Year Award and Metro All-East regional honors for the second straight year ... Was also part of county and conference XC team titles and a track sectional championship team that was 12th at state in 2023 ... As a junior in 2021-22, she placed 69th at state cross country and registered a PR 5:10.86 in the outdoor mile ... In her sophomore season, she was part of county and conference championship efforts in cross country and county, conference and sectional titles in track while eclipsing the 20-minute mark in the three-mile run for the first time (19:57).
