
Cross Country Bears Travel to Bradley

Cross-Checking the Bears
- The Missouri State women's cross country team will head to Bradley for the first time this season for the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday afternoon.
- The race will feature two women's races that are 6-kilometers each. The white race will begin at 2:15 p.m. and the red race at 3:45 p.m. The second race of the day will be limited to nine athletes per team. The race will be broadcast on ESPN+.
- The Classic will feature seven other MVC schools: Bradley, Drake, Illinois State, UIC, Indiana State, Northern Iowa and Southern Illinois.
- Sixteen Bears will be representing Missouri State on the course.
- This won't be MoState's only trip to Bradley this year. The team will return to Peoria on Nov. 15 for the NCAA Midwest Regional.
- The last time out the Bears finished 28th out of 38 teams at the Gans Creek Invitational at Missouri in a field that included 12 Power Four teams, including four that competed for the 2023 NCAA title.
- Sophomore Tabitha Fox led the Bears across the line for the first time in her career with a time of 21:45.5 and a 132nd-place finish out of 329 runners.
