Missouri State (26-16) plays its first neutral site game of the season Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. when the Bears take on Omaha (16-20) at Urban Youth Academy in Kansas City. The Bears have played one prior game at UYA, beating Iowa 8-3 on March 14, 2018. MoState has won seven games in a row and seeks its first eight-game streak since March 2018.
Admission is free, and donations of youth baseball and softball equipment are welcome.
Series History
The Bears hold a 3-1 lead on the Mavs in the all-time series, with all four games taking place in Albuquerque, N.M., from 1979-81.

Missouri State is 11-2 all-time in games played in Kansas City. The Bears beat Kansas State on the Kansas side in 2006, while the other 12 games have taken place on the Missouri side of the border, including the Iowa win in 2018 and a 9-2 series record at Rockhurst in games played from 1965-73.
Last Time Out
Missouri State took all three games from Valparaiso at home to close out April, sweeping a fourth consecutive MVC series. The Bears won 14 games in April, their most in a month since March 2018, while their 13 conference victories were the most league wins in a calendar month since April 1995.
    In game one of the Valpo series, Brandt Thompson tossed seven shutout innings and Taeg Gollert led off the 10th with his second walk-off homer of the season for a 4-3 win. In game two, Spencer Nivens and Zack Stewart each drove in four runs in a 12-2, seven-inning victory. Nivens, Stewart and Nick Rodriguez each had two RBI in Sunday's 9-6 win.
