Starting Five - Storylines for the Bradley Game
1) The Missouri State Lady Bears continue to have success on the boards this season. MSU ranks 5th nationally and 1st in the Missouri Valley Conference with 17.6 offensive rebounds per game, while ranking 2nd in the conference and 20th in the country in total rebound average with 43.5 per game. Missouri State also owns a +10.7 rebound margin, which is second in the conference and 18th nationally. Rebounding has been an advantage for the Lady Bears over the years, as they have out-rebounded 67 of their last 78 MVC opponents and won the rebounding battle 113 times in their last 136 contests overall.

2) Missouri State suffered its first MVC loss of the season after falling to Illinois State on Thursday night, 67-63. Kennedy Taylor (18 pts, 14 reb) and Indya Green (12 pts, 13 reb) posted double-doubles in the loss, while Sydney Wilson recorded her sixth-straight double-digit scoring performance.

3) Since the beginning of the 2017-18 season, MSU has compiled a 60-11 record inside Great Southern Bank Arena, while boasting a 39-5 record since the start of the 2019-20 season. Since the start of the 2019-20 season, MSU's 39-5 home record has come by an average score of 71.7-55.1 with a plus-11.8 rebound margin.

4) Fifth-year senior Sydney Wilson now sits in second place all-time in career wins with 106 as a Lady Bears, trailing only Brice Calip (2017-22) who owns 122 career wins. Wilson is also just 39 points shy of the 1,000-point mark for her career.

5) Missouri State's transfers have made a major impact this season. MSU has collected three MVC Newcomer of the Week honors by three different players (Green, Taylor and Thomas). Thomas is the league's reigning newcomer of the week after averaging 19.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game to open Valley play, while her stat line at Evansville of a double-double (27 pts, 10 reb) with at least five assists and five steals was just the fourth of its kind in program history at MSU.

Series History
Missouri State leads the all-time series against Bradley, 62-25, including a 36-10 advantage in Springfield. MSU has won the last 11 matchups against the Braves. Last season, the Lady Bears swept the series, collecting a 66-46 win at home and a 72-56 victory in Peoria.
In last year's matchup in Springfield, Sydney Wilson logged 15 points and 9 rebounds and Paige Rocca scored 9 points. On the road a year ago,  Wilson scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds as Ifunanya Nwachukwu pulled down 15 rebounds and recorded 6 points.

The Opponent
Bradley is 3-11 on the season and 0-3 to start Missouri Valley Conference play. The Braves are coming off a 65-83 loss at Southern Illinois. Bradley is led by Caroline Waite and Alex Rouse who are averaging 13.0 and 12.2 points per game, respectively. Isis Fitch is the team's leading rebounder at 6.6 boards per game.
As a team, the Braves average 58.9 points and 33.5 rebounds per game. Bradley is shooting .381 from the field, .333 from three and .720 from the free throw line, and owns a -14.5 scoring and -5.4 rebounding margin.
