Senior Max Kreikemeier was tied for 18th after shooting 72-76--148. Freshman Christian Rischer posted 73-80--153, while Austin Gillund had 77-80--157 and JP Lavalle shot 76-83--159.

Host Valparaiso led by a dozen when play was suspended at three under par, but still had holes to play, while DePaul was final for the day at nine over par. Cleveland State and Loyola Chicago are tied for third at +11 and Purdue Fort Wayne is at +12 to round out the top five in the 17-team field.
