SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State men's soccer's season-opening match scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 7 at Saint Louis has been canceled due to projected inclement weather in the area.
In lieu of Sunday's cancelation, MSU has added an exhibition match for tonight (Feb. 5) against Missouri S&T with a 6 p.m. kickoff from Betty & Bobby Allison South Stadium. All home games this season will be free admission. Public restrooms will be available inside the stadium, but the concession stand will be closed for tonight's match.
The Bears, who were picked to repeat as Missouri Valley Conference champions in the league's preseason poll, will get right into MVC play to begin the 2021 regular season with a home match against Bradley (1-0-0) on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 2:00 p.m.
