Quick Kicks

  • Missouri State clinched sole possession of the Missouri Valley Conference regular season championship, earning its 10th overall regular season title in program history. The Bears become the first team since SMU in 2000, 2001 and 2002 to win three-straight outright league crowns.

  • During the last three seasons (2019, 2020, 2021-present) Missouri State leads the nation in overall winning percentage with a 44-4-1 record. The Bears percentage of .908 lands them at the top of Division I in the NCAA over Georgetown (.870), New Hampshire (.858), Washington (809) and Marshall (.808).

  • Goalkeeper Michael Creek ranks 8th in the nation in goals-against average, allowing eight goals over 12 games played (.657). The senior has also helped MSU to six of their eight shutouts, including the last four games.

  • Missouri State's win over Bradley extended its national-best win streak to 12 straight. The winning streak started after MSU's lone loss on the road to American Athletic Conference Champions Tulsa on Sept. 3. During this run, MSU has outscored opponents 26-5.

  • Missouri State has recorded eight shutouts this season in 15 matches. Their win over Bradley was the team's fourth straight. The Bears rank 11th nationally in shutout percentage.

  •  MSU is currently tied for 2nd in the nation in winning percentage. The Bears boast a win-loss percentage of .929 along with Georgetown, sitting just below New Hampshire (.938).

  • Dating back to 2019, the Bears have won 26 of their last 27 conference matches. MSU's lone loss was a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Loyola in the spring of 2021.

Goals Breakdown

  • Jon Koka has led MSU in goals all season. Five of his 16 shots have found the back of the net (.313).

  • Josh Dolling's first goal of the season on Oct. 17 gave him the school record for game winning goals (14). He extended his hold on history with his 15th game-winner on Oct. 31.

  • The Bears have deep offensive production this season and have had 14 different players score goals this season.
