SPRINGFIELD – The No. 18 Missouri State men's soccer continues its conference slate on Saturday, Oct. 2 when the Bears travel to Bradley. The match will kick off at 7 p.m.

• Since the start of the 2019 season, Missouri State is 32-0-0 (1.000) when it scores two or more goals in a match.
• Dating back to 2019, the Bears have won 20 of their last 21 conference matches. MSU's lone loss was a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Loyola in Spring 2021.
• Kyle Hiebert has been named as a candidate for the NCAA's 2021 Senior CLASS Award. The senior defender is one of 30 men's soccer players from across the country to be considered for the prestigious award. This season, Hiebert leads the Bears in minutes played after eight games with 646 and seven starts. Not only is the defender part of a strong Missouri State backfield, but he has tallied two goals this season to help boost the Bears to a 7-1 record.
• Missouri State is currently atop of the Missouri Valley Conference standings after starting conference play with wins over SIU Edwardsville, Evansville and Drake. The Bears' overall record this season is 7-1-0. Conference foe, Loyola, is close behind with two wins and a tie so far in conference play. The Bears and the Ramblers will face off next week at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9.
• After the Bears second conference win over Evansville late last week, midfielder Jack Denton leads the conference in game winning goals. He has recorded two game winners in the four games he has appeared in, both coming against MVC opponents. The senior forward scored off a penalty kick in MSU's 1-0 win against SIUE on Sept. 19, before registering his second goal of the season at the 28th minute mark in the Bears win over Evansville on Sept. 25.
• Midfielder Kian Yari not only leads the MVC in assists, but his efforts have landed him in the top-20 in the nation. Along with three other NCAA Division I soccer players, Yari is sitting in the No. 17 spot doling out five assists over eight games (.620).
• After receiving votes for three straight weeks, MSU has broken back into the United Soccer Coaches Top-25. The Bears come in at No.18 with their six-win, one-loss record after sitting in the 26th spot last week. MSU is also ranked No. 15 in both College Soccer News' Top-30 poll and Top Drawer Soccer's Top-25.
Take a Look Ahead
After taking on Bradley on the road, MSU returns home next weekend for a battle with conference foe, Loyola on Saturday, Oct. 9. Currently, the Ramblers are sitting just below the Bears in the Missouri Valley Conference standings in second place. The match will kick off at 6 p.m. and admission is free at all Missouri State home soccer games this fall.
