Final Results
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The Missouri State men's golf team finished in 13
th place in its spring opener here Monday at the Loyola Intercollegiate at the Palm Valley Golf Club. Missouri State posted a final-round 286 to finish the 54-hole event at 299-292-286—877.
Freshman
Max Kreikemeier (72-72-73) served as a frontrunner for the Bears, finishing the tournament one-over par and tied for 27th. Senior
Lukas McCalla (78-72-70) showed improvement in his final round to place in the top-60, while juniors
Crimson Callahan (79-73-69) and
Christopher Obert (72-75-74) both carded totals of 221.
Drake (286-282-281) took home the title in the 19-team competition. Eastern Michigan (292-281-277) and host Loyola Maryland (290-284-277) finished second and third, respectively, while Loyola Marymount (284-285-285) placed fourth. Climbing seven spots from yesterday, Delaware (295-293-267) made an impressive comeback in its final round to finish fifth.
