Unnur Bergsdottir • F • Reykjavik, Iceland • Fjölbrautaskóli Suðurlands

In 2018, she appeared in 13 games, starting 10 and scoring eight goals. Bergsdottir tallied the most goals on her team in 2017, which finished runner-up in the 1st divsion in Iceland and advanced to the the Icelandic Women's Super league. She is a two-time "most improved player," earning the laurels in 2015 and 2018, respectively.

Coaching Staff on Bergsdottir:
"Unnur Dora Bergsdottir plays as a forward for her club UMF Selfoss in the top Women's division in Iceland.  She has an excellent combination of skill, athleticism and soccer smarts and should be an important piece of our attack in 2019.  Having seen her play against some high level competition I have no doubt that she will be an effective attacker for us."

Hannah Peterson • GK • Kansas City, Mo. • Staley High
Peterson is in her senior season at Staley HS. A three-year starter in goal, she has racked up numerous accolades including all-conference goalkeeper of the year and conference defensive player of the year in back-to-back seasons. In addition, she garnered all-district, all-conference, and all-state honors in her sophomore and junior years. During her sophomore year, she recorded 16 shutouts and allowed the fewest goals (12). Her efforts led the Falcons to a pair of conference titles and district runner-up. Co-captain junior and senior seasons.

Coaching Staff on Peterson:
"Hannah is a talented goalkeeper with outstanding work ethic and determination. She is fearless in the goal and has strong technical abilities. Peterson has been competing at a high level for ECNL and developmental Academy teams in Kansas City, and was honored by MYSA and USYS for having the 2018 youth soccer save of the year.  She will fit very well with our two returning goalkeepers for a strong group between the posts this season."
