AUSTIN, Texas – Missouri State's diving duo of Ashley Yarbrough and Michael Claunch completed their run at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championship Tuesday.
In the men's 3-meter diving prelims, Claunch placed 28th scroring 266.70. He competed against divers from national programs including LSU, Missouri, and Texas A&M.
Yarbrough landed 39th in the 1-meter diving prelims, earning a total of 223.65. Her score bested that of 11 other qualified divers at the meet.
Despite impressive efforts, neither Yarbrough nor Claunch will move onto the final day of competition at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships.
