Quick Kicks
- Missouri State (15-0, 9-0 MVC) triumphed over Loyola in a 2-1 result on Sunday, Nov. 3 to close out a perfect regular-season home record (8-0) for the second time in program history (1996).
- As the 2019 Missouri Valley Conference regular-season champions, the Bears have locked up the top-seed in the MVC Tournament which commences with the quarterfinal round on Nov. 13. Missouri State will face the winner of the No. 4/No. 5 matchup in the semifinals on Nov. 15 in Chicago. MSU claimed its eighth overall regular-season title, collecting its first Valley crown since 2017.  Â
- MSU features a fierce defense that is tied for sixth nationally in goals against average (0.586) and has allowed just nine goals on the season which is the sixth fewest in Division I. The Bears have been unyielding defensively in the latter stages of matches, allowing only three goals in the second half and overtime this season. With seven total shutouts in 2019, the Bears held a 24-3 scoring margin over their opponents through the first 10 matches, boasting a pair of multi-game shutout streaks (Sept. 2-Sept. 10 and Sept. 26-Oct. 9).
- The Bears' attack is one of the most lethal in the nation, ranking in the top-15 in scoring offense (9th), points per game (8th), total goals (15th), and assists per game (13th). Yet to be held scoreless in 2019, MSU has scored 36 goals to give it the team's highest season total since 2005 (38). Missouri State is outscoring opponents by a 36-9 margin this season and has trailed in just four matches.
- Senior forward Matthew Bentley continued his reign as the Valley's most dangerous attacker, increasing his current scoring streak to seven consecutive games in the Bears' 2-1 win over Loyola on Sunday (Nov. 3).  His goal at the 0:14 mark was the fastest goal from the start of a game since an eight-second Cal State Northridge goal on Aug. 26, 2016. He has bagged 10 goals during the seven-match scoring streak, highlighted by a trio of multi-goal performances against Evansville (Oct. 5), Bradley (Oct. 9), and Valpo (Oct. 30). He leads the conference in points (27) and goals (12) while ranking 18th and 12th nationally, respectively, in both categories. In his first season at MSU, Bentley has etched himself into the history book, tallying the program's most goals in a season since Ryan Anderson scored 15 goals in his 2005 campaign.
- Jack Denton has been a pivotal asset for the Bears' set pieces this year, ranking 12th in Division I with eight assists in 15 matches. As the MVC's leader in assists this season, Denton boasts the highest total for an MSU player since Johannes Demarzi registered 10 assists in his 2009 campaign. Â
- Goalkeeper Michael Creek has made all 15 starts in goal this season for MSU with 1341:40 minutes played, ranking seventh nationally in goals against average (0.603). The junior from St. Louis has been an enforcer between the pipes, collecting 30 saves and allowing nine goals on the season to rank atop the MVC with a 0.769 save percentage. With five clean sheets this season, Creek has 11 career shutouts, tying him with Lance Parker (2004-07) for sixth on career shutouts for the Bears.
- Missouri State sits atop the MVC in most statistical categories, leading the league in points (104), goals (36), assists (32), shots (200), shots on goal (89), goals against average (0.586), and save percentage (0.780).

- The Bears held the No. 9 spot in last week's national rankings, marking highest spot for the Bears since the 2005 team peaked at No. 9 during an eight-week stretch inside the top-25. MSU's highest ranking came in the 2000 season with a No. 3 spot in the Sept. 11 poll.

Going Streaking
- Missouri State has rattled off a remarkable 15-straight wins, becoming the first NCAA Division-I team to start 15-0 since Akron went 23-0 in 2009. The Bears' 15-game winning stretch is the nation's longest in-season winning streak since Maryland won 15 consecutive games in 2016. MSU is the only team in all of Division-I men's soccer that remains perfect in 2019.Â
- With a program-best 15-0 record, the Bears are off to the hottest start in Missouri Valley Conference since the 2001 SMU team opened its season with 21 straight wins. With the nine wins in MVC play, MSU has posted its highest conference win total in program history.Â
- The Bears' winning streaks have broken into the Valley record books as well, ranking third behind the 1993 Creighton (19) and 2001 SMU (21) teams for the longest overall streak while their nine-game conference winning stretch is tied for the longest by an MVC team with SMU who has recorded a pair of nine-game conference winning streaks (2001, 2004). With a win against the Bulldogs on Saturday, Missouri State would become the first team in MVC history to go 10-0 in league play.
- MSU will look to go undefeated in regular-season road matches for the first time in program history as the Bears own the second longest active road winning streak (8) behind Saint Mary's (Calif.) who has won nine-straight contests.
