LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – The Missouri State women's golf team finished in 12th place at the 42nd FIU/Pat Bradley Invitational, finishing the 17-team competition with 304-300-295 (+35).

Stand-out sophomore
Abby Cavaiani paved the way for the Bears, recording 71-72-71 and tying for seventh in the 90-player field. This is her fourth top-10 finish of the season, the first at which came in Sept. at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial (3rd).

Freshman
Johanna Wollenhaupt was next for MSU with 76-75-72 (+7), good to tie for 38th. Sophomore
Faith Belmear recorded 79-76-75, while teammates sophomore
Brooke Newell finished with 78-77-79 and junior
Bridget Schulte with 79-82-77.

Taking home the tournament title was Stetson (286-290-280), while Florida Atlantic (285-290-285) claimed second place. Florida Gulf Coast (287-289-298), host Florida International (287-292-297) and Gonzaga (291-297-289) locked in the top-five.

Missouri State women's golf will close its fall schedule at the Little Rock Classic on Oct. 27-29 in Little Rock, Ark.
