LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Missouri State men's golf team finished in 14th place at the Little Rock/First Tee Classic on Tuesday (Oct. 22) to close its fall schedule. The Bears recorded 301-304-311 in the 15-team competition at the par-72 Bear Den course at Chenal Country Club.

Junior
Crimson Callahan was the frontrunner for the Bears, shooting 72-74-76 (+6) and tying for 23rd. Falling seven strokes behind Callahan was junior
Christopher Obert, recording 76-75-78 and tying for 57th. Freshman
Max Kreikemeier tallied 76-79-75, while senior
Lukas McCalla ended tournament play with 77-80-82 and freshman
Eric Byun with 84-76-85.

Sharing the tournament title were Missouri Valley Conference's Illinois State (288-292-292) and Campbell (288-291-293). Taking third place was Middle Tennessee State (295-284-298), while Little Rock (284-294-302) and Eastern Michigan (291-286-304) ended fourth and fifth, respectively.

Missouri State men's golf will open its spring slate on Feb. 21-24 at the Loyola Intercollegiate in Goodyear, Ariz.
