Know the Bears

• The Bears have started the 2018 season on an offensive high note. Recording six goals in the first three matches, while in 2017 MSU only saw two goals through the first three games last season.
• MSU will face off against Mercer in Peroia, Ill. as part of the Bradley Invitational, before returning home to face the second of three west coast schools in Springfield, Santa Clara.
• MSU leads the Missouri Valley Conference in goals against average 0.621. Allowing just two goals in three matches.
• Josh Dolling leads the Bears offensively, recording nine shots and finding the back of the goal twice. Dolling also paces the MVC in points scored (4) and game winning goals (2).
• Michael Creek, in his first season in goal has put up 12 saves, a shut out against Omaha (Aug. 31) and leads the conference in goals against average (.62) and save percentage (.857).
• The Bears defense held the high flying offense of Cal State Fullerton to just seven shots with two on goal during the 1-1 double over time draw (Aug. 27).
• In the United Soccer Coaches West region, Missouri State sits ranked eighth.
• Missouri State will celebrate its 700th program game on Sept. 22 when they take on Valparaiso at Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium.
