SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State women's tennis team begins its fall schedule in Conway, Ark., as the Bears are set to compete in the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) Fall Invitational, taking place Thursday, Sept. 20 – Saturday, Sept. 22.
 
Due to potential inclement weather, the Bears will compete in two rounds of doubles tonight, Thursday, Sept. 20, starting at 7:30 p.m.
 
The UCA Fall Invitational will resume Friday, Sept. 21 with singles starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 will also see a 9 a.m. start to conclude the final day of the invitational.
 
Missouri State is one of six teams scheduled to compete in the invitational. The other teams set to compete are Arkansas State, Southeast Missouri State, Louisiana Tech, Southeastern Louisiana, and, host, Central Arkansas.
 
The Bears have an action-packed fall schedule including a pair of October home tournaments, the Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championship and Missouri State Fall Invitational. Sandwiched between the home events, Missouri State will travel to Iowa City, Iowa to take part in the ITA Regional Championships.
