SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State women's soccer team (5-4) will look to rebound as the Bears head to Kansas State and Oral Roberts this weekend.
 
The Bears' first stop will be at Kansas State on Friday, Sept. 14 beginning at 7 p.m. Missouri State will have a quick turnaround and trek to Oral Roberts on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 1 p.m.

Missouri State Quick Kicks

• Goalkeeper Kaitlin Maxwell logged a career-high 11 saves against Saint Louis Sunday afternoon, breaking her previous record set earlier this season in an overtime victory at Tulsa.
• Freshman forward Anna Durnin garnered Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week laurels on Sept. 4 after scoring the game-winning goal to edge out Omaha, 1-0. This is the Bears' second MVC Player of the Week nod this season, with Jordan Eickelman earning Offensive Player of the Week on Aug. 20.
• Olina Einarsdottir, Kennady Orlick, Emma Skornia and Anna Durnin have each notched their first career goal this season.
• Kennady Orlick found the net for the third time this season, in a 2-1 win over UMKC on Sept. 2, to become Missouri State's leading scorer. All of her goals have been game winners.
• Missouri State's 1-0 victory against Southeast Missouri State on Aug. 21 signaled Head Coach Rob Brewer's 200^th win with the Bears. He has been the head coach since the program's inception in 1996 and has collected two MVC Tournament Champion titles and NCAA Tournament appearances (2000, 2017), three academic all-Americans, and 20 MVC Championship appearances.

 
Scouting Kansas State

• Kansas State's offense has shared the ball with seven players tallying a goal this season. Junior forward Katie Cramer leads the Wildcats, finding the net twice this season against Oakland and Drake.
• The Wildcats' last win came on Aug. 23 against Drake as Cramer's goal lifted Kansas State past the Bulldogs, 1-0.
• Since starting the season 3-0, the Wildcats have dropped two games, and tied against Indiana and San Jose State to sit at 3-2-2 heading into Friday's match.

 
Scouting Oral Roberts

• Junior forward Jordan Langebartels and senior forward Sierra Beall lead the offense for the Golden Eagles with each scoring three goals on the young season. The pair's six goals account for more than half of the team's total scoring.
• After starting the season on a 4-1 run, Oral Roberts has lost its last four games to hold a 4-5 record. Their last win came on Aug. 31 as the Golden Eagles defeated Sam Houston St. 3-0.
• Langebartels is the Summit League's shot leader with 26 so far this season.

Kansas State:

• Missouri State holds the 1-0-0 series advantage in the young rivalry against Kansas State.
• In their last meeting during the 2016 season, Missouri State shut out the Wildcats, 2-0, with senior Karen Kozol and junior Ashley Coonfield each finding the net.

 
Oral Roberts:

• The Bears rivalry against Oral Roberts dates back to 1996, the same year as the inception of the Missouri State women's soccer program.
• Missouri State maintains the slight 10-8-4 series edge over the Golden Eagles.
• In their last meeting, the Bears shut out Oral Roberts 2-0 at Betty & Bobby Allison South Stadium.
