SPRINGFIELD– The Missouri State women's tennis team will host South Dakota State on Friday, March 16, at 12 p.m. at Cooper Tennis Complex. The Bears will then head on the road to face Kansas State on Sunday, March 18 at Mike Goss Tennis Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas, with first serve at 4 p.m.
MSU (4-5) is looking to rebound after falling in a close 5-4 decision to UMKC on March 10 at Cooper Tennis Complex. Sophomore

South Dakota State (0-9) heads to Springfield for a quick three matches in three days trip, as the Jackrabbits also take on Drury and Southwest Baptist. Missouri State has defeated SDSU each of the previous two times the squads have squared off, all of which have been played at Cooper Tennis Complex. In 2016, MSU's 4-3 victory over SDSU was the sixth of eight straight wins that season.
No. 40 Kansas State (10-3) is fresh off of upsetting No. 28 Baylor, 4-3, in Big 12 league play earlier in the week and will take on Texas at 11 a.m. on Sunday before facing the MSU in the afternoon. K-State holds the advantage in the all-time series record, 14-2, including wins over the Bears each of the last three seasons.
