Career Highs Highlight Final Day in Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. – Three new career highs highlight the Missouri State track and field team's final day at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational on Saturday.

Jessica Allen posted a new career best in the 3,000-meter run with a 9:49.90 race. Allen's time was good enough for third place and sits as the fourth fastest in the Missouri Valley Conference this season.

In the mile run Paityn Howat improves her personal best time to 5:03.11. Howat completed the race in sixth place and was one of four Bears to finish in the top 15.

In pole vault, Georgia Richardson marked a new career best with a 3.50-meter leap to finish tied for 10th.

MSU also earned fourth place in the 4X400 meter relay. Kadisha Francois, Divina Henry, Asha Cave and Isa Videler recorded the 3:47.56 time.

Missouri State will continue the indoor season next weekend at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 9-10) in Pittsburg, Kan.
