T&F Bears Record PRs and Event Win Across Two Meets

WARRENSBURG, Mo. / FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Missouri State women's track and field turned in another strong split-squad showing this week, competing at the UCM Mule Relays on April 9-10 and the Arkansas Spring Invitational on April 11.

The Bears recorded an event title, multiple top-three finishes and several personal-best marks across the two meets as the outdoor season continued to progress.

UCM Mule Relays
Mary Margaret Harris highlighted the weekend in Warrensburg with a victory in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, crossing first in a personal-best 10:46.56. Adrien Martens added a third-place finish in 11:01.31, while Ella Rew placed fourth with a personal-best 11:03.54. Emily Nuttall rounded out a strong showing in the event with a fifth-place finish in 11:09.47.

Missouri State also turned in a solid day in the longer distance races. Riley Bryan finished second in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 37:05.16, while Addysen Clark followed in fourth with a personal-best 37:10.11. Amy Gotfredson placed fifth in 37:35.42, and Elsa Henry came in sixth at 38:12.34.

In the 5,000 meters, Madilyn Moore led the way with a fourth-place finish in a personal-best 17:28.83, while Ella Cronhardt added a sixth-place showing in 17:35.26. Faith Fotiades paced the Bears in the 1,500 meters, placing sixth in 4:45.09, while Kaitlyn Hatley and Emilee Brusselers also competed in the event.

Arkansas Spring Invitational
The sprint group took over Saturday in Fayetteville, where Olivia Rogers posted a sixth-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.74 and added an eighth-place finish in the 100 meters in 11.60. Kayleigh Jenkins followed closely in the 100, placing 11th in a personal-best 11.62, while Delaney Weimer finished 12th in a personal-best 11.65. Brianna Howard also turned in a personal-best 11.81, and Alyssa Ball added a personal-best 12.02.

Weimer came back in the 200 meters to place 11th with a personal-best 24.23, while Jenkins finished 13th in 24.25. Lang, Howard and Ball also recorded personal-best times of 24.47, 24.65 and 24.83, respectively.

In the hurdles, Cheria Galbreath recorded another personal best, running 14.59 in the 100-meter hurdles. BreAna Garrett added one of Missouri State's top finishes of the meet in the 400-meter hurdles, taking second in 1:01.66, while Mirabella Redman also competed in the event.

The Bears also showed depth in the 400-meter dash, where Claire Farrell led the group with a seventh-place finish in 55.19. Raegan Foster posted a personal-best 56.01 to place 12th, and Jordyn Buckley followed with a personal-best 56.33 for 14th.

In the distance events, Ella Cronhardt placed second in the invitational section of the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:30.04, while Harris added a sixth-place finish in 4:34.50. Martens posted a personal-best 4:45.02 to finish fourth in the open 1,500, and Moore followed in fifth with a personal-best 4:45.84.

Faith Fotiades led Missouri State in the 800 meters with an eighth-place finish in 2:18.30. Raegan Schnurbusch added a personal-best 2:19.56, while Abby Meyer clocked 2:15.79 in the invitational section.

In the field events, Shiloh Cross finished third in the triple jump with a mark of 12.04 meters, Brooklyn O'Cain placed eighth in the javelin at 37.63 meters, Mirabella Redman took 14th in the long jump at 5.23 meters and Jenkins cleared 1.55 meters in the high jump.

Missouri State's 4x400-meter relay team of Foster, Buckley, Farrell and Garrett wrapped up the weekend with a fifth-place finish in 3:46.56.

Missouri State returns to action April 17, hosting the Missouri State Invitational in its only home meet of the season.
