Final Results  
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Missouri State track and field team logged five first place finishes at the Missouri Holiday Opener on Saturday.

The Bears finish in second place, recording 107 points with event titles from Sidne' Williamson, Chicago Bains, Erica Wollmering, Taryn Smiley, while also taking down a 4x400m relay championship.

Williamson dominated the long jump with a personal best and meet record, 5.91-meter leap to finish in first place in the event. Olivia Ott took third place in the long jump with a 5.32-meter jump.  

On the track, Bains took the 60-meter hurdles title with an 8.95 time, while Ott recorded a 9.51 to finish in fifth place.

Smiley earns a second place finish in the 60-meter dash with a 7.70 time. Tomi Bamigbade (7.89), Taylor Richey (7.97) and Williamson (8.03) recorded fifth, sixth and seventh place respectively.

In the mile run the Bears took six of the top eight places including the top four. Erica Wollmering paced the race with a 5:07.11 personal record time, while Paityn Howat ran a 5:07.18 mile run. Grace Breiten comes in with a 5:07.46 time, just ahead of Edna Dar with a fourth place 5:08.17 time.

Namibia Clavier receives second place in the 400-meter run with a 58.23 race, while Allie Hafner takes fifth place with a 1:05.95 time.

Five of the top eight 200-meter dash spots go to the Bears with Smiley (25.44), Williamson (25.76) and Bamigbade (25.86) taking the top three.

The Bears also take home a first place finish in the 4x400-meter relay teamed by Clavier, Williamson, Smiley and Bamigbade.

Missouri State will continue the indoor season after the turn of the calendar, back in Columbia at the Missouri Intercollegiate (Jan. 11).
