SPRINGFIELD – For the first time since the 2009 season, Missouri State boasts a top-25 men's soccer program, with the undefeated Bears (7-0-3) checking in at No. 25 in Tuesday's United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I top 25 poll.
Missouri State is undefeated through 10 matches following Saturday's 1-0 win over Bradley. The Bears are one of three teams in NCAA Division I to remain unbeaten, joining St. Mary's (CA) and Portland.
The Bears are streaking toward the best start in program history, since 1999 when the squad went undefeated through the regular season (20 games).
Missouri State also checks in at No. 30 this week's the College Soccer News top 30 poll and No. 50 in the NCAA RPI rankings.
The Bears are set to take on Tulsa on the road tonight (Oct. 9) at 7 p.m., before heading to Loyola Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
