SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State men's soccer team remains undefeated after a 1-0 shutout of Bradley, Saturday night at Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium.

The Bears record improves to 7-0-3 overall and 2-0-1 in conference action. The squad now matches the best start in program history since 2005, going undefeated through 10 games.

The sole goal of the match came at the 47-minuite, off an own goal by Bradley. Several players attempted to head the ball in the Braves' goalie box, but one of the Bradley's own athletes knocked in what would turn out to be the decider for the Bears.

Offensively the Bears recorded nine shots, spread out over eight players, led by
Dylan De Jong with two.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Bears held Bradley to just seven shots with five on goal. Goalkeeper
Michael Creek and the MSU defense held up the fourth clean sheet of the season. Â

The Bears will hit the road to take on Tulsa, Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m., before heading to Loyola on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
