Missouri State Quick Kicks
  • The Bears' 1-0 shutout over Central Arkansas marked head coach Rob Brewer's 250th career victory and the program's 188th win.
  • Sophomore midfielder Kayleigh Putnam netted the first goal of her Missouri State career in the Bears' 2-0 shutout over SEMO. Putnam was credited with the game-winner and maintains a .600 shooting percentage.
  • Prior to the start of the 2017 season, Missouri State was selected seventh in The Valley preseason poll.
  • Breaking a four-way tie, junior Brooke Prondzinski notched her second goal of the season Friday night against SEMO and now leads the squad with two goals and five points.
  • After eclipsing her single-game saves record just a week ago, freshman goalkeeper Kaitlin Maxwell tallied a career-high eight saves in Sunday's match against the Saint Louis Billikens. The newcomer is the team's only goalkeeper to play on the pitch this season and is the lone member to put in a full 540 minutes.
  • Senior Brooke Zimmerman leads the Bears with 12 shot attempts while the squad averages 11.5 shots per game. Overall, the Bears have tallied 14 corner kicks and 26 shots on goal.

The Opponents
Nebraska-Omaha
  • Making a slow start to the season, the Mavericks enter Friday's contest 0-4-1. One of UNO's losses came at the hands of Valley foe UNI, where the Mavericks fell 2-0.
  • Out-scored 11-1 this season, Natalie Johnson has netted UNO's only goal through five matches.
  • In the net, Haley Johnson leads the Maverick goalkeepers with 18 saves and a 1.48 goals against average.
  • UNO looks to new leadership as Tim Walters enters his first year as head coach of the program.

SIUE
  • Facing a similar Missouri State opponent, SIUE fell to the Saint Louis Billikens in a 3-0 match on Aug. 31st.
  • Caroline Hoefert leads the Cougars with two goals while Courtney Benning and MacKenzie Litzsinger boast one goal apiece.
  • The only Cougar to man the SIUE goal, Juli Rossi ranks second in the Ohio Valley Conference with 30 saves.
  • SIUE is led by head coach Derek Burton, who is in his 10th season at the helm for the Cougars.

Series History
Nebraska-Omaha
Missouri State holds a near-perfect, 4-0-1 series lead over Nebraska-Omaha. The Bears ride a three-game winning streak against the Mavericks heading into Friday's contest and have surrendered just three goals in the five-game history. In the most recent meeting between the two teams, Missouri State scored two early goals and limited the Mavericks to just one – resulting in a 2-1, MSU victory.

SIUE
Meeting for the first time back in 2008, the Bears maintain a 5-2-2 overall record against the SIUE Cougars. The last meeting on Sept. 16, 2016 resulted in a draw as neither team could break through the 1-1 deadlock. Missouri State is 2-2-0 all-time playing at SIUE, taking the Cougars to overtime twice.
