SPRINGFIELD – After playing four matches at home, the Missouri State women's soccer team travels east for a pair of Missouri Valley Conference matches, beginning Thursday with a 7 p.m. contest at Indiana State followed by a 1 p.m. matchup at Loyola on Sunday.

Indiana State
- After an impressive 6-2 victory at Chicago State on Sunday, Sept. 24, the Sycamores enter Thursday's match 5-4-1 overall and 0-1 in MVC play.
- The Indiana State offense, which ranks third in the Valley in goals scored, is led by Katie Wells who has tallied six goals and twelve points in 841 minutes this season.
- In goal, keeper Hannah Sullivan has seen the most amount of time on the pitch, racking up 35 saves and two shutouts in her eight appearances. She maintains a 1-3 record while Brianna Riscossa boasts a 2-1 record with 15 saves.
- Indiana State is led by head coach Julie Hanley, who is in her first season at the helm for the Sycamores

Loyola
- Ranked first in the Missouri Valley Conference, Loyola is a perfect 2-0 in league play and is 9-3 overall this season.
- Loyola leads the league and sits second in the nation with 42 goals this season. Twelve Ramblers have netted goals as Jenna Szczesny leads the squad, as well as the league, with eight. Following closely behind Szczensy is Katie Grall, who carries six goals, five assists and 17 points on the season.
- The Loyola defense has surrendered just 15 goals this season as goalkeeper Maddie Ford leads the Rambler keepers with 42 saves, a 1.17 GAA and 9-3 overall record.
- The Ramblers look to head coach Barry Bimbi, who is in the midst of his seventh season as the women's soccer head coach at Loyola.

Indiana State
Winning the last three games in the series, Missouri State boasts a comfortable 11-5-1 all-time series record over the Sycamores. Missouri State came from behind to beat Indiana State in the two team's most recent meeting, outlasting the Sycamores 3-1 at Betty & Bobby Allison South Stadium. The Bears have compiled a 6-2-1 record in Terre Haute, Ind.

Loyola
Beginning their series history in 2013, the Bears and Ramblers are tied 2-2-0. Missouri State came out with the first two wins in the series while the Ramblers have claimed the last two meetings. Last season, the Bears dropped a 2-0 decision to Loyola in Springfield. Both teams are 1-1 at home and on the road.
