Springfield, Mo. – In a match that went down to the wire, the Missouri State men's soccer team recorded their second loss of the season, going down 2-1 against Memphis.
Junior
Conor Ingram opened up the scoring in the 33
rd minute with a five yard header, recording his first goal of the season. The goal came off of a serve by freshman
Connor Langan on the far side of the field. Â The Bears defense held Memphis to just three shots in the first half with none aimed at goal.
In the second half MSU was not able to keep the Tigers caged. Memphis recorded five corner kicks and five shots during the final half of play. In the 81
st minute Luke Biasi assisted by Burke Fahling broke open the scoring for Memphis. The game winning goal came in the 87
th minute by Charles Blankenship who came off the left side to net the deciding goal. Â
The Bears were unable to stage a comeback in the last three minutes, with Memphis keeping control of the ball to secure the win.

- 81:39 – Luke Biasi scored his first goal of the season from five yards out on an assist from Burke Fhling.
