Biography

2017: Started every game in goal for the Bears earning Missouri Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Year honors… Marked 11 shutouts in 17 games tying the single season program record and completed his career in the net with 25, ranking second all-time in MSU career shutouts history… Owns the second lowest career goals against average in Bears history (.084)… Only allowed nine goals all season off of 181 shot attempts… Recorded 63 saves with season highs coming against Air Force (8/25) and Oral Roberts (10/3) with eight each… Ranked as one of the best goalies in the country, finishing the season in top 10 in goals against average (.50), goals allowed (9) and shutouts (11)… Earned United Soccer Coaches Association All-West Region second team, All MVC First Team and MVC All-Tournament Team… Academically Priestley has earned Scholar All-North/Central Region Accolades, CoSIDA Academic All-American third team status as well as CoSIDA Academic All-District VI team and Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete first team.

2016: Started in the net for all 20 matches for the Bears… Totaled 1,885 minutes in the net, allowing just 18 goals (3rd in MVC), collecting a season-high 45 saves, posting six shutouts, and finishing with a goals against average of 0.98 (3rd in the MVC)… Helped prevent MSU from dropping a match in two overtimes and three double-overtimes… Named to 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-District VI team and given an MVC men’s soccer scholar-athlete honorable mention.

2015: Started in all 17 games for the Bears… Totaled over 1648 minutes in net, allowing 21 goals, registering 35 saves, posting seven shutouts, and earning a goals against average of 1.15 (4th in the MVC)… Helped prevent the Bears from losing during their two trips to overtime and five trips to double overtime.

2014: Competed for playing time in his first season on campus ... Started two games and appeared in one more for the Bears ... Totaled over 219 minutes in net, allowing just two goals, making three saves, and earning a goals against average of 0.53 ... Finished with a record of 1-0-1, earning the shutout victory against Incarnate Word (Aug. 29) and playing in all 110 minutes of the double-overtime 2-2 draw against UMKC.
