MSU Men’s Soccer Completes Staff for 2017 Season

SPRINGFIELD -- Missouri State men's soccer coach Jon Leamy announced today the finalization of his staff for the upcoming season with the addition of volunteer coaches Jack Roberts and Colt Reichl.

Roberts, a Bears soccer alum, will return to the program to continue his coaching career, while Reichl will work with MSU's goalkeepers in his debut with the Missouri State program.

"We are excited about Colt and Jack joining our Bears Soccer staff," said Leamy. "They bring a lot of energy and have hit the ground running to help in our quest to win more championships"

Both new staffers are currently working in their new roles and in place for the upcoming campaign.

Jack Roberts
Jack Roberts joined Missouri State men's soccer coaching staff for the 2017 season.

He returned to MSU after a one-year stint at William Woods University in Fulton, Mo., where he was an assistant coach. During the 2016 season, the team finished with a 12-7 record, including six wins in conference, tying the record for most conference wins in program history. Before joining William Woods' staff, Roberts signed a one-year contract with Telford United FC in England.

Roberts donned the Bears' uniform from 2011-2014. Named Missouri State's team captain and All-Missouri Valley Conference second team honoree as a senior, Roberts helped lead the team to back-to-back conference regular season championships. As a junior, he was an All-MVC first team selection.

He is an FA Level 2 qualified coach with a degree in Communications and a minor in Mass Media from Missouri State University (2015).

Colt Reichl
Colt Reichl joined Missouri State's men's soccer program as a volunteer assistant coach in the spring of 2017. The goalkeeping coach previously served as the director of coaching for the FC Dallas-East Texas Juniors Academy and was an assistant at LeTourneau University for two seasons prior to that.

While working at Letourneau, Reichl was also the goalkeeper coach for the Shreveport Rafters FC in the National Premier Soccer League.

As an undergrad at San Francisco State University, Reichl lead the Gators to their best record in 17 years. His 0.90 goals-against average and 12 saves also helped the team to their most wins in a season since 2005.

Reichl is a USSF "C" licensed coach and holds an Advanced National Diploma with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Reichl holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts from San Francisco State and a Master's in Business Administration from LeTourneau.
