Carpenter Leads Bears into Round 3
The Missouri State men's golf team kicked off their final regular season tournament at the Tiger Invitational on Monday (April 10) morning in Columbia, Mo. The Bears started tied for 8th going into round two and finished the day tied for 5th out of 18 teams. Host Missouri (578) sits in 1st place followed by Northern Illinois (589), Austin Peay (596), SIU Edwardsville (597), and Little Rock (603) tied with Missouri State for fifth. Northern Iowa, Central Arkansas, Drake, and IUPUI tied for 7
th with 604 to round out the top 10.

Pacing the day for the Bears,
Brad Carpenter fired a 74-75--149 to tie for 16th place.
Kory Franks led the team in round one but ended the day tied for 23rd on a 73-77--150. Sophomore
Adam Fisher shot a 75-78--153 and tied teammate
Jack Knoesel who had rounds of 80 and 73. Chris Obert tied for 84th after shooting 85-76--161.
