Caroline Boone fired an even par 144 on Monday (Mar. 26) to grab a share of the 36-hole lead at the Little Rock/ASU Invitational in Maumelle, Ark. The Wynne, Ark., native carded 73-71 at Maumelle Country Club to pace Missouri State, which is seventh of 13 teams after the opening day. She is tied with Ye Ji Lim of Central Arkansas, who posted a pair of even par 72's.Â
UCA has a comfortable 20-stroke lead over co-host Little Rock and UTEP in the team race after firing 295-295--590, compared to the 610 total posted by the Trojans and Miners. Toledo is fourth with 614, one clear of Northern Illinois and its 615. Arkansas State has 618, then the Bears with their 621 after shooting 310-311 on Monday. Oklahoma City (622), Wichita State (626) and Arkansas State's "B" team (632) round out the top 10. Omaha (649), Northern Iowa (653) and Evansville (654) round out the field.Â

Rachel Johnson is second on the team and 15th overall after shooting 73-80--153. Junior
Verena Gimmy is tied for 30th with 80-77--157, while

Stine Pettersen shot 84 in the opening round and was forced to withdraw due to injury in the second round. Freshman
Sophia Sadaro,carded 87-87--174 while playing as an individual and is in 71st place.
Tuesday's final round is scheduled for an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
