Loyola Intercollegiate Round Two
The Missouri State men's golf team is tied for third at the end of round two of the Loyola Intercollegiate in Goodyear, Ariz. With a two day score of 286-280—566, the Bears are only 14 strokes back from the leaders, Eastern Michigan (552). Rounding out the leaders is Connecticut in second with 282-278—560, and also in third is Northern Illinois with 284-282-566. Â

Out in front for the Bears is sophomore
Adam Fisher with 71-66—137. Fisher's 6-under-par 66 moved him up 19 spots to third place and within four strokes of the individual leader from Eastern Michigan, Kyle Rodes (69-64—133), and one behind Rodes' teammate Nicholas Ross (64-72—136). After yesterday's success, junior
John Fuchs is now tied for 16
th after shooting 72 for a total of 141. Rounding things out for the Bears,
Kory Franks and
Jack Knoesel both went one-under for 71 to tie for 50
th and 24
th respectively. Freshman
Christopher Obert is tied for 79
th with 75-76—151.
