MLS All-Time Goalkeeper Rankings
Missouri State men's soccer alum Matt Pickens was recently named as one of the top MLS goalkeepers of all-time, according to the national blog Everybodysoccer.com.
Pickens, who played in 156 MLS games from 2005-2013, checks in at No. 18 on the list of the league's greatest keepers. He started 154 times between the Chicago Fire and Colorado Rapids, collecting 471 career saves. He was named Colorado's MVP after the 2012 season and earned the club's Fan Favorite Award that same season.
At MSU, Pickens was a three-time All-MVC honoree and ranks third all-time in program history in career wins (28) and career games started in net (58). The native of Washington, Mo., is currently playing for the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the North American Soccer League (NASL).
