Series History
Missouri State travels to the University of Tulsa for the first time since 2010 on Tuesday (Sept. 27). Tulsa holds the series edge over Missouri State, 26-11-1. The last meeting in the regular-season between the two programs was in Springfield in 2014, where the Bears fell to the Golden Hurricane, 1-0, after a goal scored in the 71st minute of the match. MSU's most recent loss to Tulsa is the only match the Bears have dropped at Allison South Stadium since the home facility opened in 2014.

Quick Kicks
  • Tuesday's match at Tulsa will be just the second match on the road for Missouri State this season that hasn't been at a neutral location. The Bears traveled to Memphis at the beginning of September, and fell to the Tigers, 2-0.
  • In the last five meetings between Tulsa and Missouri State, the Golden Hurricane have been ranked in the top-15 on three occasions. In 2010, Tulsa was the No. 2 team in the country at the time the Bears made the trip to Hurricane Stadium. The Bears fell, 2-1, in the 107th minute of the match.
  • Emmerich Hoegg became just the third Bear in MSU program history to tally 12 career game-winning goals in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Bradley. The senior's game-winning goal came in the 85th minute of action to help the Bears improve to 3-0-1 this season at home. Hoegg is now tied for first in program history in career game-winning goals with MSU legends Matt Caution (1993-97) and Brad Jordan (1994-97).
  • MSU goalkeeper, Liam Priestley, is currently ranked second in the Missouri Valley Conference in goals against average (0.69), allowing just five goals this season and posting a .762 save percentage. The junior has tallied three shutouts this season, with MSU's victories over Green Bay (2-0), CSU Bakersfield (1-0) and UMKC (1-0).
  • All but one Bear has registered at least one shot so far this season. Emmerich Hoegg leads all Bears with 14 shots, while fellow Florida-native, Mikey Lightbourne, has tallied 12. Both Conor Ingram and Stuart Wilkin have taken the third-most shots on the team with nine apiece. Hoegg ranks in the top-10 in the conference in shots and shots per game, averaging two a game.
