NSCAA All-North/Central Region Team
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Missouri State men's soccer junior,
Robbie Oslica, has been awarded a spot on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Scholar All-North/Central Region Team, the association announced on Thursday (Dec. 15). Oslica's all-region selection marks the eighth-straight season that at least one Bear has been recognized by the NSCAA for academics.
Oslica was the only Bear to start all 20 matches for Missouri State in 2016. The defender was also the only member of MSU's backfield to register a goal for the Bears, finishing second on the team with three goals. Oslica is a 2016 All-Missouri Valley Conference second team selection and a two-time all-tournament team honoree. Earlier this month, the Ozark, Mo., native received his first national athletic recognition from the NSCAA by landing a spot on the All-West Region third team.
A cell and molecular biology major, Oslica was awarded CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District honors for the second-consecutive season for his 3.72 cumulative grade point average.
