SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State men's soccer team (7-5-2) will travel to Oral Roberts (6-7-2) for the final leg of a home-and-home series with the Golden Eagles on Tuesday (Oct. 25) at 6 p.m.

Series History
Missouri State leads the all-time series over Oral Roberts, 14-5-6, but has only won twice on the road, as the Golden Eagles hold the 4-2-1 advantage at home. The last time either team came out on top was Oct. 7, 2014, when the Bears topped the Golden Eagles, 2-0, at Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium. The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles have an overall record of 6-7-2, and have lost just a single match at home, falling to Incarnate Word (5-2) at the beginning of the season. The Golden Eagles are 2-2-1 over their last five matches, topping Central Arkansas, 3-2, in double-overtime and shutting out IUPUI, 2-0. Oral Roberts has scored 23 goals and has registered 151 shots on the season, averaging 10 shots a match.
Salute to America's Heroes Night – Oct. 29
Missouri State will play its final home match of the regular season against Evansville on Saturday (Oct. 29) at 7 p.m. The match between the Bears and the Purple Aces has been tabbed "Salute to America's Heroes" night, where the MSU men's soccer team will be playing in memory of Captain Aaron Eidem, who passed away last February in a tragic accident while helping a stranded motorist on Interstate 44. There will be free entry to the match for all first responders (medical, law enforcement and military) with a valid I.D.
