Stamp Picks Up MVC Goalkeeper of the Week Award

ST. LOUIS – For the second-consecutive week, and the third time this season, Missouri State's Evan Stamp has been awarded Missouri Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Week laurels, the league office announced Tuesday (Oct. 18).

Stamp, the reigning league keeper of the week, allowed just a single goal this week and collected her third clean sheet of the season with MSU's wins over Indiana State (3-1) and Kansas State (2-0). The junior combined for seven saves over the two matches and has 78 on the season. The keeper currently ranks second in the league in save percentage, averaging 5.20 saves per game.

Missouri State (5-7-3, 1-2-1 MVC) will travel to Drake (9-4-2, 0-3-1 MVC) on Saturday (Oct. 22) before wrapping up the 2016 regular-season at Allison South Stadium on Thursday (Oct. 27) against the Evansville Purple Aces. MSU's seven seniors will be recognized prior to the match for their dedication to the women's soccer program.
